MXQQ ("we", "our", or "us") operates the following mobile applications:

• UK Driving Theory Test 2026
• HS&E Test Prep UK 2026
• Life in the UK Test 2026

(collectively referred to as the "Apps")

For the purposes of UK data protection law, MXQQ is the Data Controller of any personal data described in this policy.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is stored when you use the Apps, how it is used, and your rights under UK law.

Information Stored on Your Device

The Apps store learning-related data locally on your device to provide core functionality.

Depending on the App you use, this may include:

• Practice questions completed
• Daily usage counters (including free-tier daily limits)
• Mock exam attempts
• Scores and results
• Most Failed question tracking
• Mistake records
• Study plan progress
• Topic mastery statistics
• Premium entitlement status (Free or Premium access)
• Translation language preferences (if used)

This data:

• Is stored locally on your device
• Is not transmitted to our servers
• Is not linked to your identity
• Is deleted if you uninstall the App
• Can be reset within the App settings

We do not operate user accounts.

In-App Purchases

Some Apps offer a one-time Premium upgrade or paid feature access.

All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Credit card details
• Billing information
• Apple ID credentials

Apple may provide confirmation that a purchase was completed so the App can unlock Premium features.

Subscription management and refunds are handled entirely by Apple according to their policies.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store personal information such as:

• Your name
• Email address
• Postal address
• Phone number
• Location data
• Contacts
• Photos
• Financial information

We do not use:

• Third-party advertising SDKs
• Cross-app tracking technologies

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as screen views and feature usage) to help us improve the Apps. This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally.

We do not use advertising networks, cross-app tracking, or user profiling tools.

We do not sell, rent, or share user data.

Third-Party Services

The Apps use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store — for app distribution and in-app purchases
• Firebase Analytics (Google) — for anonymous, aggregated usage analytics
• Optional system-level translation features provided by iOS

We do not integrate third-party advertising networks or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Apple and Google may process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR, we process limited personal data under the following lawful bases:

1. Legitimate Interests

To provide and improve the educational functionality of the Apps, including:

• Progress tracking
• Performance analytics (device-level only)
• App stability and bug fixing

2. Contractual Necessity

To enable paid Premium access when you purchase features through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

3. Consent (Where Applicable)

If Apple device-level analytics or diagnostic sharing is enabled on your device, processing may occur based on your consent provided through Apple system settings.

Because learning data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted externally by us, privacy risk is minimal.

International Data Transfers

We do not transfer user learning data outside your device.

However, where Apple processes in-app purchase confirmations or diagnostic data, this may involve processing outside the United Kingdom through Apple's infrastructure.

Such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law.

Data Retention

Learning data remains stored on your device until:

• You delete the App, or
• You reset progress within the App settings

We do not retain user learning data on external servers.

If you contact support by email, correspondence may be retained for customer service purposes and deleted when no longer necessary.

Government and Licensed Content

The Apps may include content that is:

• Independently created by MXQQ
• Licensed for use
• Published under the Open Government Licence (OGL)

This includes materials related to:

• UK Driving Theory test preparation
• CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) test preparation
• Life in the UK test preparation

Where applicable, proper attribution is provided.

Use of such content does not imply endorsement by:

• DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency)
• CITB (Construction Industry Training Board)
• UK Home Office
• Any UK Government body

Children's Privacy

The Apps are intended for individuals aged 17 and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Your Rights Under UK Data Protection Law

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of personal data
• Object to certain types of processing

Because learning data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly by:

• Resetting progress within the App
• Uninstalling the App
